How Richard Mille reference numbers work
From the RM 001 to the RM 27-05: base numbers, version suffixes and lettered series, with every family in the index.
Last updated
Every Richard Mille reference starts with “RM” and a number. References share a base number per family: the RM 027 Tourbillon Rafael Nadal was followed by the RM 27-01 to RM 27-05, and the RM 011 by the RM 11-01 to RM 11-05.
The early pieces use three digits (RM 001, RM 011, RM 035). Later pieces use the two-digit base with a version after the dash (RM 35-02 is the second successor of the RM 035). A “V2” or “V3” marks a later version of the same model. Lettered series such as the RM UP-01 and the RM HJ-02 form families of their own.
